Solly's Summer Soccer Camp is designed for those select and recreational players who want to excel in their sport by developing their technical skills and ability.
Each week of camp will focus on player development. Specific skills will be taught and players will learn by doing and will gain more confidence as they enhance their soccer skills.
Participants age 7-14 are invited to attend Solly's Summer Soccer Camp. This camp will run from Monday-Thursday, 8:30-11:00. Cost of this camp is $125.
Campers are asked to please bring ball, water, cleats and running shoes. Healthy snacks, such as fruit, veggies, and granola bars, also encouraged. White t-shirt preferred.
Skills developed will include those outlined below:
Ball Control, learning allaspects: * Juggling - in place and on the move, learning to better control the ball * Trapping - using all of the body, first touch * Dribbling - foot skills to move the ball; working 1 v 1
Passing: * Passing - long and short, working 2 v 2 * Heading - using correct form
Shooting: * Proper technique to score goals * Volleying inside the foot * Using the sweet spot
Tactics: * Vision - seeing the entire field * Distribution - finding teammates * Supporting - a key to success * Understanding - insights to soccer
Physical Conditioning: * Stretching - getting ready to play * Stamina - play the entire game * Agility - body control * Strength - controlling the game * Speed - covering the field
